JCI Closes Up 0.41% at 7,101.23

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed higher in trading today, Wednesday (29 April 2026). The JCI rose 28.83 points or 0.41% to the level of 7,101.23. Throughout the trading session, the JCI moved in the range of 7,063.99 to 7,126.06, with an opening level of 7,096.61. According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the share trading volume reached 40.97 billion shares, with a trading frequency of 2.413 million times. Despite this, the stock movements at the close of trading today were dominated by gains. A total of 399 stocks strengthened, 297 weakened, and 263 remained unchanged. The local indices also rose. The LQ45 closed up 0.10% to the level of 684.14, while the KOMPAS100 rose 0.3% to 957.59. The basic materials sector fell 1.08% to 2,206, while the health care sector declined 0.09% to 1,738.99. On the other hand, the energy sector strengthened 0.45% to 3,796.51, while the chemicals sector rose 0.83% to 1,082.37. Meanwhile, the technology sector climbed 0.82% to 7,789.07, the transportation sector rose 0.31% to 2,213.84, and the industrials sector gained 2.41% to 2,123.99.
