JCI Closes in the Red, Down 0.68% to 7,623.59

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed lower in trading today, Wednesday (15/4/2026). The JCI fell 52.36 points or 0.68% to the level of 7,623.59. Throughout the trading session, the JCI moved in the range of 7,623.59 to 7,773.58, with an opening level of 7,750.90. According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the share trading volume reached 48.09 billion shares, with a trading frequency of 3.111 million times. Nevertheless, the movement of stocks at the close of trading today was dominated by gains. A total of 411 stocks strengthened, 297 weakened, and 251 remained unchanged. Meanwhile, local indices also closed in the red. The LQ45 closed down 0.57% or 4.37 points to 759.95, while the KOMPAS100 fell 0.62% to 1,056.02. The basic materials sector weakened 0.44% to 2,319.70, while the energy sector weakened 0.27% to 4,187.71. On the other hand, the non-cyclical sector strengthened 0.3% to 765.22, and the property sector rose 0.21% to 977.85. The technology sector rose 0.57% to 8,006.58, the transportation sector increased 3.45% to 2,011.92, and the industrial sector rose 1.54% to 2,154.40.
