Jayapura City Government Receives Top Award for Healthcare Services
The Jayapura City Government, Papua, has achieved first place at the provincial capital level in the category of Access and Quality of Healthcare Services from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), receiving budget support amounting to Rp2 billion.
In addition, the Jayapura City Government also secured second place at the provincial capital level in the Three Million Houses Programme category. Following this achievement, Jayapura City has been granted support for the renovation of 250 housing units.
“This achievement serves as an incentive for the Jayapura City Government to continue strengthening healthcare services that are easily accessible and high-quality for the people of Jayapura,” said the Mayor of Jayapura, Abisai Rollo, in a statement in Jayapura on Tuesday.
According to Rollo, these two awards serve as evidence of the collaborative efforts of all levels of the Jayapura City Government in improving the quality of governance and public services.
“The awards achieved during this activity add to the achievements of the Jayapura City Government,” he said.
He explained that these awards serve as motivation for the Jayapura City Government to continuously improve services to the community, whether in the fields of health, education, infrastructure, or other public services.
“The award is not the end goal, but must serve as a catalyst for the local government to work better and provide real benefits to the community,” he added.
He further noted that the Jayapura City Government will continue to encourage cross-sector performance improvements, ensuring that various development programmes do not merely result in awards but also provide a direct impact on community welfare.
“We hope that in the next regional government appreciation event, the Jayapura City Government can once again record achievements through improved performance across various sectors of government service,” he concluded.
