Jaya Group Signs IDR 7 Trillion MoU to Boost Indonesia-Belarus Economic Cooperation
Jakarta – A company under the Jaya Group umbrella, PT Indonesia Belarus Jaya, has signed a business memorandum of understanding (MoU) with several companies from Belarus, totalling IDR 7 trillion. This collaboration also strengthens the bilateral economic relations between Indonesia and Belarus while opening up a more competitive market for both countries.
Chief Executive Officer of Jaya Group, Tomy Suhartanto, affirmed that the establishment of PT Indonesia Belarus Jaya is a form of the company’s commitment to supporting the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Belarus through concrete steps in the trade and industry sectors.
“PT Indonesia Belarus Jaya is a company established under the auspices of Jaya Group. Our focus and concern are to support and take real action to support cooperation between Indonesia and Belarus,” said Tomy Suhartanto, quoted from his statement on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
He explained that the collaboration is aimed at optimising the potential advantages of both countries so that they can be absorbed and utilised by each other’s markets.
“Our concern in this collaboration is to optimise all the potential that exists in both countries. Indonesia has commodities such as cocoa and palm oil, while Belarusian products that can be absorbed and utilised in Indonesia include milk, cables and wires, and fertilisers,” he said.
As is known, PT Indonesia Belarus Jaya signed an MoU with several Belarusian companies, namely OJSC Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Energi Complekt, OJSC Dolomite, and Belindo Trade. Tomy affirmed that the signing of this business collaboration is not only for business interests but also to support the government’s strategic agenda in strengthening Indonesia’s international economic relations.
“Our goal in signing this MoU is not only to support the government but also to provide competitive advantages for the Indonesian market,” he said.
He also emphasised Jaya Group’s commitment to maintaining Indonesia’s reputation in international cooperation. “Jaya Group is committed to upholding Indonesia’s good name and providing the best for the Indonesian nation,” Tomy stressed.
The signing of this business collaboration was carried out in conjunction with the signing of the Agreed Minutes of the 8th Joint Commission Meeting (SKB) between Indonesia and Belarus on Economic Cooperation by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Viktor Karankevich.
