Jaya Daido gets ISO-9002

JAKARTA (JP): PT Jaya Daido Concrete, a subsidiary of the
Pembangunan Jaya Group, has accepted an ISO-9002 management
quality assurance certificate from PT Lloyd's Register Advisory
Services Indonesia.

Jaya Daido, which produces construction piles and electricity
transmission poles, said in a statement over the weekend that the
ISO-9000 certificate will help the company improve efficiency and
productivity.

The company is among some 180 local firms which have secured
ISO-9000-series certificates. (rid)
