LMKN implements data-based royalty distribution with UPA scheme
The National Collective Management Organisation (LMKN) explained that data-based royalty distribution, to be phased in from June 2026, will run in parallel with the Unlogged Performance Allocation (UPA) scheme, which allocates 20% of royalties collected from users who fail to submit usage data to LMKN.
