Jasindo strengthens ESG through social health service programme

Jakarta — PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) has strengthened its corporate sustainability commitment through a social programme focused on health services and social harmony for the community at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta during Ramadan 1447 H.

Jasindo’s Company Secretary Brellian Gema stated that the programme forms part of the company’s commitment to integrating social aspects into its business strategy.

“We understand sustainability as a commitment to ensure every business initiative has a strong social dimension,” Brellian said, according to a statement received in Jakarta on Monday.

He explained that through preventive health services and the strengthening of community values of togetherness, the company aims to contribute to developing a healthy, productive, and competitive human resource base.

During the event held on Friday (6 March), Jasindo provided free healthcare services through its Healthy Mobile programme, serving worshippers at Istiqlal Mosque. In addition to health services, the activity was complemented by a Ramadan study session themed on halal lifestyle to enhance public literacy regarding healthy and halal living patterns.

“Through preventive health services and strengthening values of unity, we hope to help reinforce social resilience in the community,” he said.

The company also organised various educational activities for children, including colouring competitions and Islamic storytelling as part of efforts to strengthen character development and family values. Additionally, Jasindo distributed assistance to orphans and the underprivileged and distributed iftar meal packages to worshippers at the event.

Brellian added that the company will continue to strengthen the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in its corporate strategy.

“Going forward, we will continue to strengthen ESG integration in our corporate strategy so that Jasindo’s business growth advances alongside tangible contributions to strengthening human resources and national social stability,” he said.
