PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) is providing insurance protection to 25,304 Eid travellers during the 2026 Lebaran period as part of its support for the Mudik Nyaman Bersama BUMN programme. Through synergy within the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG), Jasindo offers personal accident coverage during travel, ensuring that travellers can journey more safely and comfortably to various destinations on Java and Sumatra. In this programme, Jasindo, along with other IFG Group entities, provides travel accident protection with coverage up to Rp100 million, encompassing risks of death, total permanent disability, as well as treatment and medical costs resulting from accidents. Jasindo’s Company Secretary, Brellian Gema Widayana, stated that this step represents the company’s commitment to delivering protection relevant to public needs, particularly during the Eid homecoming period. “Homecoming involves high-mobility travel inseparable from various risks. We want to ensure that travellers receive adequate protection so they can travel more safely and calmly,” she said in an official statement on Wednesday (18/3). In addition to insurance protection, Jasindo is introducing the Mobil Sehat Jasindo service, which provides free health checks for vehicles at departure points for travellers. This service aims to help ensure that participants’ vehicle conditions remain in good shape before starting their journey. “We understand that safety and health are crucial factors in homecoming travel. Through the combination of insurance protection and health services, we hope the homecoming journey will be safer, more comfortable, and smoother,” Brellian added. Moving forward, Jasindo will continue to strengthen its role in providing adaptive protection solutions oriented towards public needs, in line with its commitment to supporting strategic programmes that deliver direct benefits to the public.
