Jasindo Launches Homecoming Travel Insurance Programme, Premium from IDR10,000

Jakarta — Asuransi Jasindo has launched a Homecoming Travel Insurance Programme to protect the public from accident risks during Lebaran travel. The programme also provides home protection for participants who leave their residences during the homecoming period, with premiums starting from IDR10,000.

Brellian Gema Widayana, Corporate Secretary of Asuransi Jasindo, stated that the programme is important to provide protection during a period of high mobility.

“This is the company’s effort to increase public awareness of the importance of insurance protection during Lebaran homecoming travel,” he said on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

The programme provides personal accident protection of up to IDR100 million, applicable for travel using private vehicles or public transport. Additional benefits include home protection, ambulance subsidies, and medical evacuation or body repatriation expenses.

“The programme also protects the home and covers evacuation costs if an accident occurs.”

Home protection covers burglary up to IDR7.5 million and fire damage up to IDR50 million. Medical evacuation or body repatriation costs are capped at IDR1.5 million per incident, as is the ambulance subsidy for accident-related cases.

Brellian added that the programme is expected to provide peace of mind for the public during the homecoming journey.

“This programme ensures that travel to one’s hometown is protected whilst also protecting the home that is left behind,” he said.
