Jasindo Insurance Provides Health Services and Assistance for Worshippers at Istiqlal Mosque

PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero), or Jasindo, held a Ramadan Berbagi Berkah programme at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. The event provided free health services and charitable gifts for orphans and people in need. The programme, themed ‘Menyatukan Kebaikan, Melayani Sepenuh Hati’ (Uniting Goodness, Serving Wholeheartedly), is part of the company’s commitment to supporting national development through social activities during Ramadan. Corporate Secretary Brellian Gema said Ramadan is a moment for the company to deliver services that go beyond business and benefit the community. ‘We view service as not only risk protection but also care and tangible presence in society. This Ramadan programme is part of our commitment to support development oriented toward humanitarian values,’ Brellian said. Under the event, Jasindo provided free health services through the ‘Mobil Sehat Jasindo’ programme for thousands of worshippers at Istiqlal. The service aims to help improve public health. In addition to health services, the event included Ramadan lectures on the theme ‘Halal Lifestyle’, discussing application of a halal lifestyle in daily life. Jasindo also organised educational activities for children, such as colouring contests and Islamic storytelling. As part of the social outreach, Jasindo distributed donations and care packages to orphans and the underprivileged, and handed out iftar packages to worshippers. The company also supported worship facilities by providing shoe storage and charging stations in the mosque area. According to Brellian, these activities are expected to provide direct benefits to the community while strengthening the company’s role in creating sustainable social impact. ‘We want to present the company as a development partner that is not only oriented toward business growth but also toward creating social impact,’ he said.
