Jasindo Health Services Serve Thousands of Worshippers at Istiqlal Mosque
During Ramadan, Jasindo Insurance launched the Berbagi Berkah Ramadan programme at Istiqlal Mosque in Central Jakarta on Friday, 6 March. The company secretary, Brellian Gema, said the firm regards Ramadan as a moment to deliver service values that go beyond business functions, underpinning its role within the nation’s development ecosystem. ‘We believe that service to the company is not only about risk protection but also about care and tangible presence in society. The Ramadan programme demonstrates our commitment to development anchored in humanitarian values,’ Brellian said.
Through the Berbagi Berkah Ramadan programme at Istiqlal, the company provided free health services via the Jasindo Mobil Sehat programme for thousands of worshippers. This initiative supports improvements in public health quality as part of strengthening human resources.
The event also included Ramadan lectures themed Halal Lifestyle aimed at increasing understanding of applying a halal lifestyle in daily life, as well as educational activities for children such as colouring competitions and Islamic storytelling. As part of its social action, Jasindo distributed alms and gifts to orphans and the needy, handed out iftar packages, and supported worship facilities with the provision of footwear racks and charging stations for worshippers.
‘Through free healthcare, assistance to orphans and the needy, and enhanced public awareness of halal lifestyle as a guide to daily life relevant to modern dynamics, we want to present the company as a development partner not only oriented to business growth but also to creating sustainable social impact for the community,’ Brellian concluded.
Habib Ja’far stressed the importance of maintaining balance between worship and health during fasting, including ensuring sahur is sufficient and nutritious.
