JAKARTA – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) recorded 228,239 vehicles travelling east through Cikampek North Gate during the period of 11-15 March 2026. The traffic volume increased by 56.36 per cent compared to normal traffic of 145,969 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary and Legal Officer of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Paallo stated that the implementation of toll rate discounts on several Trans Java sections has encouraged increased public mobility towards eastern regions.

“With the increase in traffic volume continuing, we are implementing the operation of more toll booths to serve road users on the Trans Java route,” said Ria in an official statement on Monday (16 March 2026).

“In total, 30 toll booths are operating at Cikampek North Gate, consisting of 18 booths serving Trans Java traffic and 12 booths serving Jakarta-bound traffic,” she added.

Ria further noted that traffic engineering measures have not yet been implemented on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll section, and conditions at Cikampek North Gate remain safe and controlled.

In line with the increased mobility, Jasa Marga Group has implemented toll rate discount programmes on several Trans Java sections to provide more economical travel for road users.

“One such discount is 30 per cent for road users making continuous journeys from Cikampek North Gate to Kalikangkung Gate during the peak travel period, effective from 00.00 WIB on 15 March 2026 until 24.00 WIB on 16 March 2026,” Ria explained.

“Jasa Marga has also previously implemented toll rate discounts of approximately 23 per cent for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang section, effective from 12 March until 31 March 2026,” she added.

Meanwhile, vehicles from eastern Trans Java regions heading towards Jakarta through Cikampek North Gate totalled 135,629, a decrease of 5.85 per cent compared to normal traffic of 144,054 vehicles.

Increased vehicle volumes were also recorded on several toll sections managed by PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll, particularly in Central Java and East Java regions.

In Central Java, a surge in vehicles was observed at Kalikangkung Gate heading towards Semarang. A total of 122,196 vehicles travelled to the city, representing a 45.62 per cent increase compared to normal conditions of 83,916 vehicles.
