PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is ensuring the readiness of operational services across all toll roads it manages ahead of the long Ascension of Jesus Christ holiday period in 2026, so that journeys for road users remain safe, comfortable, and smooth. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the company has undertaken various operational preparations, traffic services, and optimisation of support facilities on strategic Trans Java routes to address the increased mobility during this holiday weekend. “We are committed to ensuring operational service readiness during the long Ascension of Jesus Christ holiday period through the optimisation of transaction services, traffic, as well as the readiness of personnel and on-site facilities,” she said in Bekasi on Wednesday. She explained that these steps are taken to provide a sense of safety and comfort for road users, including ensuring that traffic information and journey conditions are continuously updated periodically through various information channels to facilitate the public in planning their trips. The company has ensured the readiness of transaction booths and operational personnel at main toll gates, particularly on routes with potential increases in traffic volume such as the Jakarta-Cikampek, Palimanan-Kanci, Batang-Semarang, Semarang ABC to Surabaya-Gempol sections. Several support fleets for traffic services are also on standby 24 hours, including 29 tow trucks, seven ambulances, six rescue units, 17 Road Patrol (PJR) vehicles, and 19 Mobile Customer Service units. Traffic condition monitoring is also conducted in real time through surveillance cameras integrated with the information control centre to ensure quick responses to on-site conditions. The latest information on traffic conditions is also conveyed to road users through Dynamic Message Signs located at several strategic points along the Trans Java Toll Road route. The company is maintaining intensive coordination with the Police and relevant stakeholders in anticipating vehicle congestion through the implementation of situational traffic engineering if necessary. In addition, rest area facilities along the Trans Java route are ensured to operate optimally, open 24 hours with adequate public facilities such as parking areas, toilets, prayer rooms, petrol stations, electric vehicle charging stations, dining areas, and rest spots for road users. Ria advised road users to prepare their journeys well before entering the toll road, ensuring the condition of vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, checking sufficient fuel and e-money balances, and planning travel times properly. “If tired, road users can utilise rest areas to rest in order to maintain journey safety,” she said. Road users can also access the latest traffic information on Jasa Marga Group toll roads by contacting the 24-hour call centre at 133 or through the TRAVOY application available on iOS and Android.
