Jasamarga: Toll Rate Discount Momentum Drives Increase in Traffic Volume

Karawang (ANTARA) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol stated that the momentum of implementing toll rate discounts on several Trans Java expressway sections during the Eid exodus period has also boosted increased public mobility towards East Java.

Ria Marlinda Paallo, Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, stated in Karawang, West Java, on Monday that PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded 228,239 vehicles travelling eastbound through Cikampek Utama toll gate during the period H-10 to H-6 (11–15 March 2026).

She said the traffic volume increased by 56.36 per cent compared to normal traffic reaching 145,969 vehicles.

“Given the ongoing increase in traffic volume, we have implemented traffic management measures by opening additional toll booths to serve road users heading to the trans-java route,” she said.

“The operation of transaction booths at Cikampek Utama toll gate is optimised situationally in accordance with the prevailing traffic volume to ensure smooth vehicle transactions at the toll gate,” she added.

According to her, no traffic management measures have yet been implemented on the Jakarta–Cikampek expressway section, as traffic conditions at Cikampek Utama toll gate remain safe and controlled.
