Jasamarga Safeguards the Reliability of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Infrastructure
JTT will carry out routine maintenance on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road as part of its commitment to maintaining the reliability of toll road infrastructure.
Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, said in Karawang Regency, West Java, on Friday, that preventive maintenance measures are necessary to ensure the road remains in optimal condition and safe and comfortable for road users in light of the high traffic volumes on the route.
He stated that the preventive maintenance involves reconstructing the road pavement on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
‘In line with our commitment to maintaining infrastructure reliability, JTT plans preventive maintenance consisting of road pavement reconstruction to be conducted over four days, from Saturday, 7 March at 01:00 WIB to Tuesday, 10 March at 03:00 WIB,’ he said.
The works will be carried out at three locations on Lane A toward Cikampek, namely KM 29+071 to KM 29+096, KM 29+200 to KM 29+220, and KM 29+270 to KM 29+315.
‘The reconstruction activity covers lanes 1, 2 and 3 on that section,’ Amri added.
In implementation, traffic management will be performed on a situational basis and coordinated with on-site officers to ensure the safety of road users and to minimise potential travel disruptions.
Ria Marlinda Paallo, Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, said the maintenance activities form part of the company’s ongoing efforts to uphold service quality and the condition of toll road infrastructure so that it remains optimal for road users.
‘Through maintenance and improvement of road pavement quality, we aim to ensure road users can pass safely and comfortably while maintaining the reliability of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road as one of the main mobility corridors for the public,’ she said.
As an early notice to road users, JTT will also announce this work via roadside banners and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) along the toll road.
Ria apologised for any potential inconvenience during the works. She urged all road users to remain cautious when passing through the work area.
‘We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works. Road users are urged to comply with traffic signs and the directions of on-site officers,’ she said.
