Jasamarga reports 307,984 vehicles passing through Gempol toll road up to H+6
Surabaya (ANTARA) - PT Jasamarga Gempol Pasuruan (JGP) stated that the volume of traffic entering and exiting the Gempol–Pasuruan toll road section during the period from H-10 to H+6 of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, or 11–28 March 2026, reached 307,984 vehicles. This figure represents a 4.86% increase compared to normal traffic of 293,710 vehicles and a 10.82% rise from the 2025 Lebaran period, which recorded 277,903 vehicles. “We urge toll road users to prepare their journeys as best as possible,” said General Manager of Engineering and Operations at PT Jasamarga Gempol Pasuruan, Leonardo Chandra, in Surabaya on Saturday. In more detail, he explained that the distribution of traffic volumes at each Toll Gate (GT) on the Gempol–Pasuruan section includes GT Bangil with 31,596 vehicles exiting, up 17.78% from the normal 26,826, and 31,380 vehicles entering, up 9.97% from the normal 28,535. GT Rembang recorded 21,394 vehicles exiting, down 27.53% from the normal 29,522 vehicles, and 20,628 vehicles entering, down 29.00% from normal traffic of 29,052 vehicles. GT Pasuruan saw 76,996 vehicles exiting, up 14.24% from the normal 67,399 vehicles, and 79,925 vehicles entering, up 11.69% compared to normal traffic of 71,558 vehicles. GT Grati had 27,595 vehicles exiting, up 22.01% from normal traffic of 22,617 vehicles, and 38,559 vehicles entering, up 2.43% from the normal 37,645 vehicles. PT Jasamarga Gempol Pasuruan advises toll road users to prepare their journeys as best as possible by ensuring vehicles are in prime condition and refuelling or recharging before travel.
