She stated that, when viewed by time period, the increase in vehicle volume occurred throughout the day.

Meanwhile, for the direction towards Jakarta, the vehicle volume was recorded at 26,985 vehicles, relatively stable with a slight decrease of 0.65 per cent compared to normal traffic of 27,161 vehicles.

Overall, the total number of vehicles passing through the MBZ Toll Road in both directions reached 80,351 vehicles.

“This condition indicates the still high mobility of the public during the Eid al-Fitr period, especially in the direction leaving Jakarta,” she said.

“Road users are urged to ensure that the driver and vehicle are in prime condition, maintain sufficient electricity and fuel (BBM),” she added.

“And anticipate potential weather changes, especially rain that can affect visibility and road surface conditions, so that the journey can proceed safely and comfortably until reaching the destination,” she emphasised.
