Bekasi (ANTARA) - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) promises to maintain premium services and remain on standby across all sections of the Trans-Java Toll Road during the Easter holiday period through the optimisation of operational services to ensure the smooth flow, safety, and comfort of road users’ journeys.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the company consistently maintains service quality across all sections through integrated operational readiness.

“We ensure that all lines of service continue to operate at a premium level, from toll gate transactions and traffic management to road user services. This is part of our commitment to delivering safe, comfortable, and reliable journeys,” she said in Bekasi on Thursday.

She explained that the company is optimising services on four main toll road sections: the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Palimanan-Kanci, Semarang Sections A, B, C, and the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road.

At transaction points, they are operating toll booths to maximum capacity and preparing Mobile Readers to anticipate potential increases in vehicle volume, especially during peak travel hours.

They are also ensuring the readiness of traffic service fleets, including 29 tow trucks, 7 ambulances, 6 rescue units, 17 Road Patrol units, and 19 ‘Mobile Customer Service’ units, which are on standby 24 hours a day.

Traffic condition monitoring is conducted in real time via surveillance cameras integrated with the information control centre, supported by ‘Dynamic Message Signs’ (DMS) to provide the latest information to road users.

Furthermore, in terms of Rest and Service Area (TIP) services, they are ensuring the availability of public facilities such as toilets, clean water, parking areas, as well as cleanliness and security of the environment to support road users’ comfort during their journeys.

PT JTT is also continuing to coordinate with the Police to anticipate potential traffic congestion, including the implementation of traffic engineering if necessary, in accordance with police discretion.

Ria advised all road users to plan their journeys well, ensure their vehicles are in prime condition, and confirm sufficient electronic money balance before entering the toll road.

“Road users are expected to comply with signs and instructions from on-site officers for collective safety,” she said.

Road users can also access the latest traffic information on Jasamarga Group toll roads by contacting the 24-hour Jasamarga call centre at 133 or through the TRAVOY application available on iOS and Android.
