Karawang (ANTARA) - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol has normalised service operations at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate after the previous implementation of a national one-way traffic engineering scheme to support smooth Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 homecoming traffic flow.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated in Karawang, West Java, on Friday that with the end of the traffic engineering, transaction services at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate have returned to normal operations, with a total of 30 lanes serving both travel directions: 15 lanes for the Trans Jawa direction and 15 lanes for the Jakarta direction.

She said that this normalisation of services is being carried out gradually after traffic conditions are observed to be under control in both directions.

“With the return to normal transaction lane arrangements at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, we hope that the transaction process for road users can proceed more smoothly and the distribution of vehicle flow towards the eastern Trans Jawa region as well as from the eastern Trans Jawa region can be served optimally,” she said.

The Cikampek Utama 8 Toll Gate is located at KM 71 B on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta, precisely 1 km before the Cikampek Utama 2 Toll Gate.

This toll gate has five lanes to serve transactions for Group 1 non-bus vehicles. This toll gate serves as an alternative payment gate for journeys from the Cirebon direction towards Bandung, Karawang, and Jakarta.

JTT advises all toll road users to remain cautious while driving, maintain a safe distance, and ensure sufficient balance on their electronic money cards before entering the toll road. Toll users are also expected to follow the instructions of on-site officers and pay attention to applicable traffic signs.
