Jasamarga implements contraflow on Japek Toll Road towards Jakarta on Friday morning

Karawang (ANTARA) - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) together with the police is implementing a contraflow traffic engineering measure on the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) Toll Road section on Friday morning to support the smooth flow of return traffic for Eid al-Fitr.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in her statement in Karawang on Friday, conveyed that this contraflow traffic engineering is a proactive step to maintain the smoothness and safety of road users.

The contraflow traffic engineering on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is applied at the discretion of the police, from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta on Friday at 08:49 WIB.

She stated that JTT fully supports the traffic engineering policy set by the police to ensure that vehicle flow remains optimal, especially during the return traffic period when the volume of passing vehicles is quite high.

In addition, operational staff are also on standby in the field to carry out traffic regulation, assist road users, and ensure that services continue to run optimally.

JTT advises all road users to anticipate travel routes, ensure vehicle conditions are in prime condition, maintain safe distances, and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field.

Road users are also expected, she said, to ensure sufficient e-money balances before travelling, to maintain smoothness at the toll gates.
