Jasamarga Implements Contraflow on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

Bekasi (ANTARA) - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has implemented counter-flow or contraflow traffic management on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek, from Km 14 to Km 21, from 11.04 WIB, at the discretion of the police.

“The contraflow is being applied situationally, taking into account traffic conditions on the ground,” said Dary Achmad Budi, Acting Corporate Secretary & Legal of JTT, in Bekasi on Thursday.

He explained that the traffic management measure is an effort to keep journeys smooth for road users while easing vehicle congestion on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

The company, together with the police, will continue to monitor traffic conditions and carry out periodic evaluations of the implementation of the measure.

Road users are asked to observe speed limits when passing through the contraflow section, ensure their vehicles are in good condition, check that their electronic money card balance is sufficient, and obey traffic signs and the instructions of officers on the ground.
