PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is ensuring that all operational services on the Trans Java Toll Road segments run smoothly to escort travel during this long weekend holiday, while anticipating potential increases in vehicle traffic volume. “We continue to prioritise the best services through operational strengthening on the Jakarta-Cikampek, Palimanan-Kanci, Batang-Semarang, Semarang ABC to Surabaya-Gempol toll road segments,” said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in Bekasi on Thursday. She stated that several strategic measures are being implemented in a measured and situational manner to maintain the smoothness, safety, and comfort of road users’ journeys. Enhancements to services for optimal performance are focused on maximising transaction capacities at toll gates as well as strengthening patrols and traffic monitoring. Traffic condition monitoring is conducted in real time through surveillance cameras integrated with the information control centre and supported by Dynamic Message Signs to provide the latest information to road users. The company is also maintaining intensive coordination with the police to anticipate potential traffic congestion, including the implementation of traffic engineering if necessary according to police discretion. From the aspect of Rest and Service Area (TIP) services, the company, together with rest area managers, is ensuring the availability of public facilities such as toilets, clean water, parking areas, as well as cleanliness and environmental security to support road users’ comfort during their journeys. “For us, every journey has meaning. At this long holiday moment, we are present with services that remain optimal and full of care so that road users can enjoy their journeys with a sense of safety and peace. This is part of our commitment to continue serving wholeheartedly,” she said. She hopes that this integrated and sustainable readiness can provide smooth, safe, and memorable journeys along the Trans Java Toll Road segments during this long weekend holiday period. She also urged all road users to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, maintain sufficient electronic money balances, utilise rest areas if starting to feel tired, and always obey traffic signs and instructions from on-site officers.
