Purwakarta, West Java — PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan (JJS) is dismantling the Sadang Toll Gate in Purwakarta Regency as part of the access arrangement for the Sadang Interchange area on the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road.

Senior Manager Representative Office 3 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Agus Susilo, told reporters in Purwakarta on Wednesday that since April 2026 the transactions have been redirected from the Old Sadang Toll Gate to the New Sadang Toll Gate.

Subsequently, PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan is continuing the access arrangement in the Sadang Interchange area of the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road. This next phase involves dismantling the Old Sadang Toll Gate and preparing the operation of Ramp 5 and Ramp 7 at the Sadang Interchange in Purwakarta.

He assured that all phases of the works will continue to prioritise safety and the smooth flow of traffic for road users.

According to him, the access arrangement in the Sadang Interchange area is part of the development of connectivity on the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road.

“During the works, we will ensure traffic management and on-site operational readiness are optimised so that road user mobility remains well served,” he said.

During the works, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, through Representative Office 3 along with PT JJS, are preparing temporary traffic management in the form of diversion routes to ensure road user mobility remains smooth.

Road users from Sadang heading towards Jakarta or Bandung will be directed via the diversion and temporary ramp access prepared around the Sadang Interchange area. For road users from Jakarta or Bandung heading towards the Sadang area, they can continue to use the existing route.

Traffic management will be implemented in stages as follows:

  • Phase 1 demolition will be conducted from Thursday, 21 May 2026, 09:00 WIB to Saturday, 30 May 2026, 17:00 WIB.

  • Phase 2 demolition will be conducted from Sunday, 31 May 2026, 09:00 WIB to Thursday, 11 June 2026, 17:00 WIB.

He said the traffic arrangements around the work site will be supported by the installation of moveable concrete barriers (MCBs), traffic signs, warning lights, and the placement of traffic controllers at diversion points to support safety and comfort for road users during the works.

Meanwhile, regarding the discomfort reported during works, Jasa Marga apologises.

For smoother travel, road users are urged to adjust travel times, ensure sufficient balance on their electronic cards, and continue to comply with traffic signs and directions from on-site officers.
