JAKARTA – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume during the extended Labour Day holiday period in 2026. According to company data, from H-1 to H+1 or 30 April to 2 May 2026, a total of 99,109 vehicles passed through the Cikampek Utama toll gate heading towards the eastern Trans Java region. This figure represents a 7.61% increase compared to normal conditions of 92,096 vehicles. In addition to Cikampek, increases in vehicle volume were also observed on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java. For Central Java, through the Kalikangkung toll gate, vehicles heading to Semarang totalled 51,755, a 1.58% decrease from normal conditions of 52,584 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang numbered 40,047, down 10.45% from normal conditions of 44,722 vehicles. Next, at the Banyumanik toll gate, traffic heading to Solo reached 80,821 vehicles, an 8.57% increase from normal conditions of 74,439 vehicles. In East Java, through the Warugunung toll gate, vehicles heading to Surabaya totalled 58,399, a 4.82% decrease from normal conditions of 61,359 vehicles. For the direction towards Jakarta, the number of vehicles was 57,311 units, down 2.83% from normal conditions of 58,978 vehicles. Then, at the Kejapanan Utama toll gate, 94,677 vehicles headed to Malang, up 27.12% from normal conditions of 74,479 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Surabaya numbered 76,864 units, an increase of 4.30% compared to normal conditions of 73,696 vehicles. At the Singosari toll gate, vehicles heading to Malang totalled 49,430, up 12.33% from normal conditions of 44,004 vehicles. Vehicles heading to Surabaya reached 41,863 units, an increase of 12.02% compared to normal conditions of 37,370 vehicles. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) advised Trans Java toll road users to prioritise safety during their journeys. Drivers are also urged to plan trips carefully, ensure the vehicle’s condition and the driver’s physical state are optimal, and check fuel sufficiency and electronic money balance before entering the toll road.
