Purwakarta (ANTARA) - The Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division, together with PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan, has begun operating the functional lane of the Japek II South toll road for the first time on H-2 Lebaran, or Thursday. Senior General Manager of JMT, Widiyatmiko Nursejati, stated in Purwakarta, West Java, on Thursday, that the operation of the functional Japek II South toll lane is part of the services for the Lebaran mudik traffic flow. For the first time, he said, with the discretion of the police, the operation of the functional Japek II South toll lane began at 09.55 WIB. Therefore, road users from Bandung or Rancaekek heading to Jabodetabek are advised to use the functional Japek II South lane. The Functional Japek II South lane can be accessed via the Sadang access at KM 77 on the Cipularang toll road towards Jakarta and can be traversed up to the Bojongmangu toll gate. Road users passing through the functional Japek II South toll lane will not be charged and will only pay the toll for the Cipularang toll road up to Sadang. Widiyatmiko stated that because it functions as a functional lane, road users traversing the Functional Japek II South toll road are advised not to drive vehicles exceeding 40 km/h and to maintain a safe vehicle distance.
