Jasamarga: 106,187 Vehicles Headed to Trans Java Toll Road During Long Holiday

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded 106,187 vehicles passing through the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road towards the eastern part of Trans Java via the Cikampek Utama toll gate during the Ascension Day 2026 long holiday. This figure also represents a 3.76 per cent increase compared to normal traffic volume of 80,301 vehicles.

Karawang (ANTARA) - Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated in Karawang, West Java, on Saturday that 106,187 vehicles passed through towards the eastern part of Trans Java via the Cikampek Utama toll gate from Wednesday to Friday (13-15 May 2026).

The number of vehicles passing during the Ascension Day long holiday increased by 21.93 per cent compared to normal traffic volume of 87,087 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles passing from the opposite direction, or from the eastern part of Trans Java towards Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama toll gate, was recorded at 83,318 vehicles.

Jasamarga also noted an increase in traffic volume on several toll roads managed by PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Group in the Central Java region.

For example, at the Kalikangkung toll gate, the number of vehicles heading towards Semarang reached 59,460 vehicles, or a 17.72 per cent increase from the normal 50,511 vehicles. Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Semarang towards Jakarta was recorded at 42,306 vehicles (down 4.07 per cent from the normal 44,099 vehicles).

Furthermore, at the Banyumanik toll gate, traffic heading towards Solo was recorded at 88,592 vehicles, or a 32.28 per cent increase from the normal 66,971 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 60,699 vehicles (up 19.00 per cent from the normal 51,006 vehicles).

Jasamarga has appealed to Trans Java toll road users to prioritise safety and plan their journeys well.

Toll road users are also advised to ensure that their vehicles and drivers are in good condition, and to ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before starting their journey.
