Jasa Raharja has unveiled an integrated scheme to address the Lebaran exodus in 2026. The scheme is designed to support preparations for the 2026/1447 H Lebaran Transport operation.

Jasa Raharja Chief Executive Muhammad Awaluddin stated that preparations would be conducted in an integrated manner, spanning the pre-exodus period, the main migration flow, and the return journey following Eid al-Fitr 2026.

“Jasa Raharja is undertaking integrated preparations this year, both before, during, and after the migration period. Working alongside Korlantas Polri and other stakeholders, we have conducted route surveys and mapped accident-prone areas. Jasa Raharja personnel across 63 branches and 29 regional offices are also carrying out ramp checks with Ditlantas at each provincial police headquarters, and these activities continue to the present,” Awaluddin said in a written statement on Wednesday (25 February 2026).

To support Lebaran security measures, Jasa Raharja will operate 25 integrated service posts. One of the prepared locations is kilometre 81, which will serve as a checkpoint for health screening and other support services outside rest areas.

Beyond field reinforcement, the company is also optimising collaboration with hospitals to ensure the accident victim insurance claims process runs quickly and accurately.

“This year we are optimising the zero pending claims process, so that people who become accident victims can be served as effectively and efficiently as possible. This is part of our commitment to providing accident insurance that is both fast and transparent,” he explained.

As part of the state-owned enterprise ecosystem supporting service transformation under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia, Jasa Raharja is strengthening digitalisation of the compensation system, data integration with police and hospitals, and improving public service standards. All these steps are undertaken to ensure the state provides protection for the public.

“Through participation in this coordination meeting, Jasa Raharja reaffirms its commitment to delivering excellent service with the principle of serving wholeheartedly, whilst supporting the realisation of safe driving during the 2026 Lebaran Transport operation,” he concluded.

The presentation took place during a Coordination Meeting on the Preparation of the 2026/1447 H Lebaran Transport operation held by the Ministry of Transportation, at the Ministry of Transportation office in Jakarta on Tuesday (24 February).

Jasa Raharja’s presence in this cross-sector forum represents the company’s commitment as a state-owned enterprise to support the readiness of the national transportation system and ensure public protection during the Lebaran exodus and return periods.

The coordination meeting, chaired directly by Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, was attended by relevant ministries and agencies, TNI/Polri, regional governments, transport operators, and leadership of state-owned enterprises in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.

In his remarks, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi emphasised the importance of ensuring technical readiness of all transport modes before the Lebaran Transport period begins.

“I would like us to jointly pay attention to the technical aspects of the transport modes that will be used. Let us ensure nothing is overlooked regarding technical preparations, so that all transport modes are truly safe,” said Dudy.

He also provided input to relevant stakeholders to better prepare for the 2026 Lebaran Transport operation. For instance, airlines were asked to anticipate passenger surges by preparing additional flights if necessary, given the trend of ticket bookings is already quite busy.

Additionally, Dudy reminded Pelindo to ensure that post-Lebaran congestion, such as occurred during the 2025-2026 year-end period, does not recur, particularly in the management of vehicle storage areas.

“We want the Lebaran Transport operation to run orderly in accordance with our joint commitment. Coordination and compliance by all parties is an important factor to prevent disruptions that could impact the smooth flow and safety of the public,” he said.
