Jasa Raharja Reaffirms Readiness to Support Eid al-Fitr 2026 Homecoming
Jasa Raharja supports the readiness of the national transportation system and reaffirms its full commitment to protecting the public during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return period.
“We are here to ensure the readiness of basic protection support for the community in line with national policies in the field of public services,” said Jasa Raharja’s President Director, Muhammad Awaluddin, at the Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of the 2026/1447 Hijri Eid al-Fitr Transportation, organized by the Ministry of Transportation in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He said that Jasa Raharja’s presence in the cross-sector forum is part of the company’s commitment as a state-owned enterprise to support the readiness of the national transportation system and ensure protection for the public during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming and return period.
Awaluddin added that the company’s preparedness is carried out in an integrated manner, starting from pre-homecoming preparations, during the peak homecoming period, and during the return flow of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri.
He said that his company, together with the National Traffic Police (Korlantas Polri) and other relevant stakeholders, has conducted route surveys and mapped accident-prone areas.
“Jasa Raharja officers at 63 branches and 29 regional offices also participated in ramp checks with the Traffic Directorate at each Provincial Police, and these activities are still ongoing,” he said.
In supporting the Eid al-Fitr security, Jasa Raharja also operates 25 integrated service posts. One of the points prepared is KM 81, which will be used as a checkpoint for health checks and other support services outside the rest area.
In addition to strengthening on-site operations, the company is also optimizing collaboration with hospitals to ensure that the process of providing assistance to accident victims is carried out quickly and accurately.
“This year, we are optimizing the process of zero pending claims, so that people who are victims of accidents can be served as well as possible and as effectively as possible,” he said.
“This is part of our commitment to providing fast and transparent accident insurance,” he added.
As part of the ecosystem of state-owned enterprises that support service transformation under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia, Jasa Raharja continues to strengthen the digitalization of its assistance system, data integration with the police and hospitals, and the improvement of public service standards.
All of these steps are taken to ensure that the state is present in providing protection for the community.
Through participation in this coordination meeting, Awaluddin added, Jasa Raharja reaffirms its commitment to providing excellent service with the principle of serving wholeheartedly, while also supporting the realization of safe travel during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr transportation period.
The meeting was led directly by the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, and was attended by related ministries and agencies, the military/police, regional governments, transportation operators, and the leadership of state-owned enterprises in the transportation and infrastructure sectors.
The Minister of Transportation emphasized the importance of ensuring the technical readiness of all modes of transportation before the Eid al-Fitr transportation period begins so that it can run safely and smoothly.
“I would like us to pay attention to the technical aspects of the modes of transportation that will be used. Let’s make sure that nothing is missed regarding technical preparations, so that all modes of transportation are truly safe,” said the Minister of Transportation.
He also provided input to relevant stakeholders to prepare even better for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr transportation.
This input includes airlines being asked to anticipate passenger surges by preparing extra flights if necessary, given the high number of ticket bookings.
In addition, Dudy reminded Pelindo to ensure that the congestion after Eid al-Fitr, as occurred during Christmas and New Year 2025/2026, does not happen again, especially in the management of vehicle parking areas.
“Coordination and compliance from all parties are important factors to prevent disruptions that could affect the smoothness and safety of the community,” said the Minister of Transportation.
