Jasa Raharja pushes risk management towards Risk Intelligence
PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) is continuing to strengthen the implementation of risk management as part of its corporate governance transformation through the Risk Townhall 2026 held at the Jasa Raharja head office in Jakarta on Tuesday (18/8/2026).
Carrying the theme “Transforming Governance for a Sustainable and Resilient Future – Leveraging AI, GRC, ESG & ERM for Smarter Decisions and Resilience”, the forum was held to encourage the shift from conventional risk management towards a Risk Intelligence system.
Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin explained that Risk Intelligence utilises processed daily operational data to produce predictive analytics and early warnings for management.
“Through the Risk Intelligence approach, data needs to be processed into information and insight that can serve as the basis for faster, more precise and measurable decision-making. Therefore, building Risk Intelligence is the responsibility of all work units, not just the Risk Management function,” said Awaluddin on Tuesday (18/8/2026).
Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) expert and Founder of CRMS Indonesia, Antonius Alijoyo, presented the importance of utilising data analysis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to strengthen organisational resilience.
He emphasised that the implementation of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) as well as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) must not be limited to administrative compliance, but must be integrated into long-term business strategy and operations.
Meanwhile, Jasa Raharja Director of Compliance and Risk Management, Harwan Muldidarmawan, affirmed that the direction of strengthening the company’s risk management focuses on establishing Trusted Risk Intelligence.
This step is carried out through the integration of accurate data, strengthening risk sensing, and translating risk analysis into policies that have a direct impact on the public.
“The direction we want to build is the ability to see risks earlier, understand them more deeply, decide more precisely, and act more quickly. Better decisions must deliver better outcomes for the public through increasingly safe mobility and increasingly better services,” concluded Harwan.
