Jakarta – PT Jasa Raharja has prepared thousands of personnel, rapid response teams, and integrated service posts to strengthen security and public safety during the exodus and return journey for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah across various regions.

“Jasa Raharja has prepared various operational measures within the 2026 Eid Alert programme,” said Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He emphasised this during a discussion forum titled “Casual Conversation with Transportation Experts,” which brought together transportation experts, academics, and stakeholders to discuss readiness for the 2026 Eid travel period.

Awaluddin stated that his company was ready to support the success of Eid holiday travel. Jasa Raharja has mobilised approximately 2,000 personnel across 29 regional offices, 63 branches, and 38 service offices throughout Indonesia.

Additionally, Jasa Raharja is contributing to 25 integrated service posts in several strategic areas along migration routes and providing operational support through 15 tactical tent donations to support services during Operation Ketupat (the police’s massive security operation during Eid travel).

The company is also strengthening digital monitoring systems through online accident data integration with hospitals and conducting safety education and awareness campaigns at approximately 1,700 locations.

“All of this is carried out through active coordination with stakeholders, including in the Road Traffic and Transport Forum,” said Awaluddin.

“In this meeting, we received many inputs from transportation experts. Many matters were aligned, including explanations from the Chief of the Traffic Corps regarding Operation Ketupat Eid readiness,” he said.

“For us at Jasa Raharja, this moment is very important because it concerns the safety of millions of people undertaking the Eid journey,” he added.

He also emphasised that safety remains the top priority throughout all Eid travel preparations.

Meanwhile, Chief of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps Irjen Pol. Agus Suryonugroho expressed appreciation for Jasa Raharja’s initiative in organising the discussion forum with transportation experts and academics.

“Operation Ketupat is a humanitarian operation. The state is present not only to regulate traffic, but also to ensure that the social and spiritual momentum during Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr runs safely,” he said.

He also stated that the entire security scenario for Eid travel has been collaboratively prepared by various parties to realise a comfortable and safe exodus and return journey.

According to him, through synergy between the government, law enforcement, academics, and transport stakeholders, the 2026 Eid travel period can run more safely, orderly, and smoothly for the public.
