Jasa Raharja has channelled compensation amounting to Rp38.06 billion during the Eid transport period of 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE as a form of protection for accident victims, as well as a manifestation of its commitment to providing services and social security for the public.

Jasa Raharja’s President Director, Muhammad Awaluddin, in addition to the distribution of Rp38.06 billion in compensation during the 13–29 March period, also issued 6,588 guarantee letters for injured victims at 2,816 partner hospitals across Indonesia.

“No victim should have to wait. That is our commitment, and that is what we have proven. All compensation for fatalities, including those from prominent accidents, has been settled in accordance with applicable regulations,” he stated in his remarks in Jakarta on Tuesday.

During the 2026 Eid Alert period, Jasa Raharja recorded a positive trend in safety aspects, marked by a decrease in the number of accidents and an increase in public awareness of safe driving in various regions.

Nevertheless, Awaluddin did not provide specific details on the number of accidents, but this achievement serves as a positive indicator in strengthening safety during this year’s Eid homecoming momentum.

Jasa Raharja has officially closed the 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE Eid al-Fitr Alert activities in Jakarta on Monday (30/3).

The event marks the end of the company’s series of readiness efforts in supporting the smooth flow and safety of Eid homecoming and return travel in 2026.

He emphasised that the Eid Alert is not merely an annual agenda but a form of the state’s presence in ensuring that the public can travel safely and comfortably.

Furthermore, Awaluddin stressed that Jasa Raharja’s role is not limited to post-accident handling. It also encompasses consistent preventive efforts, from safety education and ramp checks to strengthening cross-sector coordination.

According to him, these various efforts have had a positive impact on safety conditions during this year’s Eid period.

Through a system connected to various institutions, including the police and hospitals, Jasa Raharja is able to ensure faster, more accurate, and transparent services for the public.

“This is also in line with our zero pending claim commitment, where all compensation for fatalities can be settled on time,” he added.

In addition, the success of the 2026 BUMN Free Homecoming Programme has become an important part of the achievements, with a realisation of 116,688 homecomers, exceeding the set target.

“This closing appeal also serves as a moment of reflection for all Jasa Raharja personnel to continue improving performance, strengthening collaboration, and maintaining the spirit of service to the public,” he further stated.

Looking ahead, Awaluddin added that the company is committed to continuing to bring innovations and strengthen its strategic role, not only as a compensation provider but as an active partner in realising a safe transportation system in Indonesia.
