Jasa Raharja and DAMRI Agree to Safeguard Driver Health and Physical Readiness
Jakarta — Jasa Raharja continues its sustained efforts to strengthen the public transport safety system through direct coordination with transport operators.
One such initiative took the form of a working visit by Jasa Raharja President Director Muhammad Awaluddin to Perum DAMRI’s Kemayoran Branch in Jakarta, as part of a strategic move to build a service ecosystem that is safe, reliable, and oriented towards public service.
During the visit on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, Awaluddin, accompanied by Radito Risangadi, Head of Jasa Raharja’s Greater Jakarta Regional Office, was received by DAMRI’s management team. In attendance were Technical and Facilities Director Arifin, VP of Quality and Service Facilities Ardini Dewi Ciptanti, VP of Operations and Safety Wahyu Susilo, and VP of General Services Ahmad Daroini.
The meeting served as a coordination forum to align strategic measures for strengthening safety standards and improving the quality of services to the public.
On the occasion, Awaluddin conveyed the importance of reinforcing synergy between Jasa Raharja and DAMRI in ensuring that public transport safety standards operate optimally through technical coordination and preventive oversight.
Jasa Raharja is also continuing to promote the implementation of an ecosystem-based safety culture through sustained collaborative programmes, including emergency response training (PPGD) and capacity building for human resources in accident risk mitigation. The initiative also opens opportunities for strategic collaboration through the utilisation of DAMRI passenger manifest data to enhance the accuracy of coverage and accelerate compensation services.
“Safety cannot be built in a piecemeal fashion. Strong synergy, an integrated system, and shared commitment are required to build a sustainable safety culture. Through this collaboration, we want to ensure that every journey taken by the public is protected optimally and professionally,” he said.
Awaluddin added that the utilisation of manifest data represents an important step in strengthening the protection system, including the optimisation of Jasa Raharja’s accident insurance services.
“With the support of accurate, real-time data, the service process can be carried out more swiftly, precisely, and transparently, so that the principle of the state being present can be felt directly by the public,” he explained.
As part of the state-owned enterprise ecosystem under the coordination of Danantara Indonesia, the synergy between the two companies is expected to strengthen the role of public transport as the backbone of national mobility.
