PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has reaffirmed its efforts to maintain national connectivity and improve toll road service quality. This forms part of its support for public mobility, the smooth distribution of goods, and economic growth across various regions of Indonesia.

In line with the theme of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, ‘A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia’, Jasa Marga is using the independence moment as a reminder to continue making tangible contributions through toll road infrastructure management that prioritises safety, reliability, and service quality.

To commemorate the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, Jasa Marga held an Independence Day ceremony at its head office. The ceremony served as a moment for all Jasa Marga Roadsters to unite in togetherness and continue collaborating in carrying out their respective roles and responsibilities.

As a toll road infrastructure management company, Jasa Marga continues to play its role in supporting inter-regional connectivity through toll road management that prioritises safety, operational reliability, and service quality for road users.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A Purwantono said the spirit of independence must be realised through the company’s tangible contribution in carrying out its role as a toll road infrastructure manager while providing the best service to the public.

Amid the grief over the disaster that struck the people of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Jasa Marga is also striving to remain present in the community by prioritising empathy, care, and solidarity as part of the company’s moral responsibility.

“Amid the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, allow us to express our deepest condolences over the disaster that has befallen our brothers and sisters in NTT. Their sorrow is our shared sorrow,” said Rivan in a written statement on Sunday (17/8/2026).

“Let us give meaning to independence by strengthening unity, mutual cooperation, and care for one another. This is the spirit we continue to uphold at Jasa Marga through our commitment to Serving Wholeheartedly by providing tangible benefits to the community. May our brothers and sisters in NTT be given strength, fortitude, and protection to rise and recover soon,” he continued.

The independence moment also serves as encouragement for Jasa Marga to continue strengthening its toll road service contribution that benefits the public. These efforts are realised through various operational strengthening measures and service development, including the use of technology and digitalisation in toll road management.

Through the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC), Jasa Marga continues to strengthen traffic condition monitoring, incident handling, and data-based operational decision-making. On the user service side, the Travoy application provides various travel information, ranging from real-time traffic conditions and CCTV, toll rates, rest area information, to emergency services connected to One Call Center 133.

Currently, Jasa Marga manages 36 toll road concessions with a total length of 1,736 km. Of this network, approximately 1,294 km are commercial toll roads already in operation, with a market share of 42%. Through the management of this network, Jasa Marga carries out its role in supporting national connectivity and facilitating public movement and goods distribution.

Entering 81 years of Indonesia’s journey as an independent nation, Jasa Marga will continue to strengthen its role in maintaining connectivity and improving toll road service quality.

These efforts are carried out through collaboration with various stakeholders, including Danantara Indonesia, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Transportation, the Indonesian National Police, and other relevant stakeholders, to support connectivity, safety, and smooth public mobility.

“Togetherness and collaboration are important parts of running Jasa Marga’s operations to ensure services to road users run well. This spirit must be maintained so that Jasa Marga can provide an even greater contribution to the public and Indonesia,” said Rivan.

Jasa Marga also supports the Government’s Asta Cita programme, particularly the third Asta Cita through infrastructure development and the sixth Asta Cita in promoting equitable development and economic benefits for the community.

Through operational strengthening, innovation, and collaboration, Jasa Marga strives to continue delivering toll road infrastructure and services that benefit the public and support the realisation of a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia.
