Jasa Marga Responds Swiftly to Accident on Km 26 B of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road
PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has moved quickly in response to an accident incident at Km 26 B of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Jauzy Anbiya, explained that based on reports from officers in the field, the incident involved four vehicles travelling from Cikampek towards Jakarta in lane 4. “Based on information from officers in the field, the first vehicle reduced speed and subsequently the second, third, and fourth vehicles failed to anticipate the traffic conditions, resulting in a pile-up. The final position of all four vehicles was in lane 4, facing west,” Jauzy said in a statement on Friday. The incident occurred at Km 26+600 B towards Jakarta on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on Friday, 17 July 2026, at 17:01 WIB. Upon receiving the information, Mobile Customer Service officers carried out swift evacuation action. The evacuation process at the scene lasted until 19:20 WIB. Currently, all lanes are passable and traffic flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road has returned to normal. There were casualties in the incident who were taken to Siloam Bekasi Timur Hospital. Further handling of the incident is being carried out by the West Java Region Highway Patrol. Pgs Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Dary Achmad Budi, apologised for the inconvenience caused by the incident. “JTT apologises for the inconvenience caused by this incident and urges road users to remain cautious and ensure their vehicles are roadworthy. If tired, please rest at the provided rest areas,” said Dary.
