Jasa Marga reports Jogja-Solo toll road progress at 98 percent

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) has stated that development of the national strategic project (PSN) for the Jogja-Solo toll road, specifically the Prambanan-Purwomartani section, has reached 98 percent completion.

“We are reporting that the Jogja-Solo toll road, including the addition from Purwomartani, is now 98 percent ready from Prambanan to Purwomartani,” said Rivan Achmad Purwantono, President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, after meeting with the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, in Yogyakarta on Thursday.

According to him, the Purwomartani area, which falls within Sleman Regency, DIY, has been further enhanced with the addition of an elevated structure or bridge leading towards Bokoharjo.

“This is certainly an effort to ensure that traffic management does not immediately congest Adisutjipto, while also supporting the entire region, whether heading to Bantul, Gunungkidul, or using the Wonosari Highway,” he said.

In addition, Jasa Marga also reported on the construction progress of the Jombor to Trihargo section up to Sleman Junction, which will eventually connect with the Jogja-Bawen toll road extending to the Banyurejo area.

He also stated that, in accordance with the direction of the Governor of DIY, construction of the road section along the Maguwoharjo to Jombor corridor will be accelerated, including progress on the road around the ring road, so that it can be used as soon as possible.

“There will also be a change, as the section from Wates to YIA (Yogyakarta International Airport) will be accelerated in line with the advice of Ngarso Dalem, particularly from Maguwoharjo towards Jombor,” he said.

Governor of DIY Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X said that the construction progress of the Jogja-Solo and Jogja-Bawen toll roads, as reported by Jasa Marga, faces no obstacles and is in fact showing significant advancement.

“It is hoped that the toll road construction can be accelerated. The report indicated that land acquisition and other matters are proceeding without problems and smoothly, so it can be completed according to the existing schedule,” he said.

Sri Sultan also expressed hope that any technical issues in the toll road construction project can be resolved promptly so that the work can proceed properly.

“As for technical matters, I do not fully understand what the problems might be. What matters to me is that the work is carried out well; that is what I want,” he said.
