Jakarta — PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is prepared to serve approximately 3.53 million vehicles projected to pass through four main toll gates—Cikampek Utama, Kalihurip Utama, Ciawi, and Cikupa—exiting the Greater Jakarta region during the period from H-10 to H+10 Eid 2026, spanning 21 days.

To anticipate this surge in traffic, Jasa Marga has developed a series of operational service strategies for Eid 2026 encompassing the operation of functional lanes, reinforcement of operational service fleets, optimisation of traffic monitoring technology, enhancement of toll road infrastructure readiness, and improved rest area services, according to Jasa Marga Chief Executive Officer Rivan A Purwantono in a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday.

Rivan stated that traffic movement projections during the Eid period have been formulated based on historical data analysis and monitoring conducted through the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Centre (JMTC). This control centre is equipped with visual monitoring technology and supported by machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to identify traffic movement patterns over time, providing the foundation for Jasa Marga to implement more responsive and effective traffic engineering measures.

As part of efforts to support traffic distribution, Jasa Marga has prepared four functional lanes on various toll road sections: the Jakarta-Cikampek II South route (Sadang-Setu) spanning 52 kilometres, the Yogyakarta-Bawen Section 6 Ambarawa-Bawen route spanning 4.98 kilometres, the Jogja-Solo segment Prambanan-Purwomartani spanning 12.225 kilometres, and the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Phase I (Probolinggo–Situbondo Barat) spanning 49.68 kilometres.

To support operational services during the Eid period, Jasa Marga has deployed various toll road service fleets, including 124 mobile customer service units, 55 ambulances, 37 rescue vehicles, 199 tow trucks, and 101 highway patrol vehicles equipped with five traffic congestion management teams. Additionally, Jasa Marga has prepared 470 on-call toll gate officers, 736 mobile reader units, 18,000 rubber cones, four cranes, 188 obstacle avoidance barrier units, 121 cash top-up service points, 14 toll equipment technician teams, and 29 operational posts distributed across various Jasa Marga Group toll road sections.

Smooth operations during the Eid period are also supported by synergy and collaboration with various stakeholders, including the police, Ministry of Coordinating Affairs for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Public Works, regional governments, and other toll road operators.

Jasa Marga appeals to the public to ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition, comply with traffic regulations and officer instructions, so that the Eid 2026 exodus can proceed safely and comfortably.
