PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is reinforcing its role in supporting sustainable transport ecosystems by preparing its rest area network as strategic service points for the implementation of Biosolar B50 fuel.

This support is realised through the provision of facilities and service coordination for the Presidential Launch of the B50 Biosolar Implementation, held under the theme ‘Real Steps Towards National Energy Independence and Resilience’, which took place at the KM 57A Rest Area on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on Thursday, 9 July 2026.

The KM 57A Rest Area on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, managed by a partner, is one of the strategic service points in the Jasa Marga Group toll road network.

Situated on the main corridor of public mobility and national logistics distribution, and connected to the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Road, the rest area plays an important role in supporting smooth journeys whilst providing energy services for toll road users.

In supporting the implementation of Biosolar B50, which follows on from the earlier B35 and B40 biodiesel programmes, Jasa Marga continues to strengthen coordination with PT Pertamina (Persero) and fuel station operator partners within the Jasa Marga Group rest areas.

This coordination aims to ensure the readiness of service facilities, smooth operations, and support for the distribution of Biosolar B50 in accordance with the stages and regulations set by the government.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono said the presence of Biosolar B50 at toll road rest areas forms part of the company’s effort to deliver toll road services that adapt to future transport needs.

‘As Indonesia’s largest toll road operator, Jasa Marga ensures that the supporting infrastructure ecosystem of toll roads can adapt to future transport needs. Through the readiness of our rest areas and synergy with Pertamina, we support the implementation of Biosolar B50 so that road users, including logistics vehicles, can access energy services aligned with the national energy transition agenda,’ said Rivan.

Rivan added that Jasa Marga continues to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into its business management, including through the development of toll road and rest area services that are increasingly responsive to sustainability issues.
