JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The performance of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), the state-owned toll road operator, grew in the first quarter of 2026 in line with an increase in business revenue that supported the company’s net profit. During that period, the company recorded business revenue of Rp 5.1 trillion, up 10.4% from the first quarter of 2025. “This achievement reflects the company’s consistency in controlling operating expenses and optimising operational performance,” said Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono, in a press statement on Thursday (30/4/2026). Business revenue was supported by toll revenue of Rp 4.7 trillion, up 9.4%, and other business revenue of Rp 397.6 billion, up 24.4% year-on-year. Net profit for the first quarter of 2026 was recorded at Rp 774.7 billion. “This figure aligns with the growth in business revenue and EBITDA, demonstrating the company’s solid and accountable business fundamentals,” Rivan added. Although net profit saw a slight year-on-year correction due to increased financing costs following the operation of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road, the company considers this step a strategy to drive long-term performance. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining financial health and service quality. The company remains the market leader in the national toll road industry, with a total operational toll road length of 1,294 km out of a total concession of 1,736 km, equivalent to 42% of Indonesia’s total toll roads. Several strategic projects continue to be pursued, including the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road, Yogyakarta-Bawen, Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulon Progo, Jakarta-Cikampek II South, and Patimban access. Apart from the Patimban access, these segments have been functionally operated without tariffs during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/Lebaran 2026 period. “Consistent growth in toll revenue, other business revenue, and EBITDA serves as a strong indicator of the company’s preserved business fundamentals,” Rivan explained. “This reflects Jasa Marga’s ability to maintain performance stability while strengthening business resilience amid industry dynamics,” he continued.
