Jasa Marga encourages utilisation of toll discounts to ease return traffic flow

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is encouraging the public to take advantage of a 30 percent toll discount on 26–27 March 2026 to help ease the density of the Eid return traffic flow. Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono stated that the toll discount policy is part of a strategy to distribute vehicles so that they do not concentrate on the peak return flow. “We are once again reminding the public to utilise the toll discount on 26–27 March and to use the Travoy application to plan their journeys more effectively,” said Rivan in his statement, Jakarta, Thursday. He explained that Jasa Marga has passed the first stage peak return flow on 24 March under controlled conditions, although there had previously been a significant surge in vehicles. According to him, the utilisation of the toll discount is expected to encourage the public to arrange their travel times earlier, so that density does not accumulate at the peak return flow anticipated on 28–29 March. Rivan added that the public is also urged to utilise the application and conduct research to monitor traffic conditions and plan journeys more efficiently. “The main focus is to anticipate the peak return flow so that vehicle distribution remains controlled,” he said.
