Jasa Marga Continues Maintenance Work on Cipularang-Padaleunyi Toll Road
Purwakarta (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga is continuing maintenance work on the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads to improve safety and the quality of services on those stretches.
“The maintenance work on the toll road is taking place from today until Saturday (9/5),” said Acting Senior Manager of Representative Office 3, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Danang Eko Saputro, in his statement in Purwakarta, West Java, on Sunday.
The work is being carried out by Jasa Marga through Representative Office 3 of the Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division in collaboration with PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM) as the maintenance service provider.
He explained that the types of maintenance work on the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads include reconstruction of pavements and scrapping, filling, and overlay.
Field management, he said, has been designed in such a way as to remain effective amid the increasing volume of vehicles.
According to him, even coinciding with the long holiday period, these repair works are being carried out intensively as a preventive measure to maintain road quality.
“We have instructed the field team to implement effective work arrangements so that the work areas remain safe to pass through. Thus, even with the repairs underway, the distribution of traffic flow to holiday destinations can still proceed optimally on the available lanes,” he said.
On the Cipularang toll road towards Bandung, pavement reconstruction is being carried out at the outer shoulder lane, Sadang Off Ramp, lanes 1-2 access to Sadang, and lanes 1 and 0 (ascent), from KM 87+233 to KM 93+456.
Meanwhile, on the Cipularang towards Jakarta, the road works are being conducted on lane 1 at Off Ramp 3 Jatiluhur and on lane 1 from KM 82+346 to KM 82+102.
Scrapping, filling, and overlay works are being carried out on Cipularang towards Bandung on lanes 1-2 from KM 68+866 to KM 79+292, as well as on lane 1 and the outer shoulder at Off Ramp Jatiluhur.
On the Cipularang toll road towards Jakarta, these works are being performed on lane 2 from KM 96+355 to KM 95+833 and on lane 2 from KM 80+434 to KM 80+400.
Furthermore, pavement reconstruction on the Padaleunyi toll road towards Cileunyi is being carried out on lane 2 at Off Ramp Padalarang, and towards Padalarang on lane 1 and the outer shoulder from KM 133+746 to KM 133+586 and Off Ramp Padalarang.
Scrapping, filling, and overlay works on the Padaleunyi toll road towards Cileunyi are being done on lane 3 from KM 121+952 to KM 124+270, and towards Padalarang on lane 2 from KM 122+400 to KM 121+900.
Danang stated that the lanes subject to work will be temporarily impassable during the maintenance period. However, other lanes can be used as traffic lanes.
Jasa Marga apologises for any inconvenience caused by the works.
