Jasa Marga Continues Maintenance on Cipularang and Padaleunyi Toll Roads
Purwakarta (ANTARA) - Jasa Marga is continuing its periodic toll road maintenance activities on the Cipularang and Padaleunyi sections to keep the road conditions optimal amid high vehicle mobility.
The Acting Senior Manager of Representative Office 3, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Danang Eko Saputro, stated in a release received in Purwakarta Regency, West Java, on Sunday that the work on the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads will take place over the next few days from Sunday (26/4) to Thursday (30/4).
The types of work include reconstruction of road pavement and scrapping, filling, and overlay, carried out at several points along the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads.
He explained that the lanes subject to the work will be temporarily impassable during the maintenance period, but other lanes can be used for traffic flow.
Danang stated that this maintenance step is taken to anticipate toll road damage, allowing Jasa Marga to continue maintaining service quality and ensuring the toll road is always in its best performance.
“We have scheduled the work in such a way as to minimise the impact on traffic flow. This repair work is a step to anticipate technical obstacles on the main route that could hinder travel,” he said.
On the Cipularang toll road towards Bandung, scrapping, filling, and overlay work is being carried out on the climbing lane from KM 113+620 to KM 114+982, as well as on lanes 1-2 from KM 108+581 to KM 110+330.
Meanwhile, scrapping, filling, and overlay work on the Cipularang toll road towards Jakarta is taking place on lane 1 from KM 96+342 to KM 95+833.
On the Padaleunyi toll road towards Cileunyi, scrapping, filling, and overlay work is being done on lane 2 from KM 127+772 to KM 136+600, as well as on the outer shoulder lane at the Buah Batu off-ramp. Then, towards Cileunyi, the work is carried out on lane 2 from KM 122+944 to KM 122+761.
Road pavement reconstruction work is being held on the Padaleunyi toll road towards Padalarang on lane 1 from KM 141+752 to KM 141+587, as well as on lane 1 from KM 133+868 to KM 133+676.
Jasa Marga apologises for any inconvenience caused by the work.
