Jasa Marga Confirms All Staff Ready for National One-Way Toll System
Jakarta – PT Jasa Marga has confirmed that all personnel have been prepared to implement one-way traffic management on the Trans-Java Toll Road, or National One-Way system, stretching from Kilometre 70 Cikampek to Kilometre 414 Kalikangkung, Semarang, Central Java.
Ria Marlinda Paalo, Vice President Corporate Secretary and Legal at PT Jasa Marga Trans Jawa Toll, stated that the traffic management system is projected to be implemented on Wednesday, 18 March, following predictions of the peak Lebaran exodus in 2026.
“According to our projections, 18 March will indeed be the peak of the exodus,” said Paalo at the Jasa Marga Toll Gate (GT) Cikampek Utama office in Purwakarta, West Java, on Tuesday.
The company has also prepared transaction services at the Cikampek Utama toll gate, which serves as the entry point to the one-way system.
Usually, the Cikampek Utama toll gate operates only 18-19 booths serving vehicles in both directions. However, on Tuesday, when the partial one-way scheme was implemented, the company operated 22 booths, all dedicated exclusively to eastbound traffic towards Central Java.
Additionally, Paalo stated that the company has prepared rest areas to serve all travellers in accordance with the traffic management scheme.
“We have anticipated everything,” she said.
Previously, the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) announced plans to implement the national one-way system on Wednesday, 18 March, during the sixth day of Operation Lebaran 2026.
“I have coordinated with the Minister and the Jasa Marga Director General that the predicted peak of the exodus is 18 March. So on 18 March between 10 am and 12 noon, we will implement the national one-way system for the exodus,” said National Police Major General Agus Suryonugroho, Head of the Traffic Corps, at Rest Area KM 57 A on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, West Java, on Monday evening (16 March).
