Jakarta – The Chief Executive of PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR), Rivan A. Purwantono, confirmed the readiness of toll road services to ensure smooth traffic flow during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus, projected to involve 3.6 million vehicle movements across Indonesia.

PT Jasa Marga, a state-owned enterprise under Danantara, is ensuring collaboration with relevant institutions and state-owned companies to verify the preparedness of road capacity to support both outbound and return holiday traffic. One key initiative addresses the surge in oversize and overweight trucks (ODOL – Over Dimension Over Load) expected to traverse toll roads during this period.

In accordance with a Joint Decision Letter (SKB) from the Transport Ministry, Ministry of Public Works, and the National Traffic Police, restrictions have been implemented on commercial vehicle operations. However, trucks are not being completely stopped; rather, operations are being redirected and limited. Two-axle logistics vehicles (single-cabin trucks/CDD) are permitted to continue operating.

To support smooth traffic flow during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus, Jasa Marga has developed the Travoy application (Travel with Comfort and Joy), launched since 2016. The application provides information regarding traffic density and toll road activity, helping holiday travellers plan safe and smooth journeys.

Purwantono discussed Jasa Marga’s efforts to facilitate the 2026 Eid holiday exodus in a dialogue with Dina Gurning on the Focus On Infra programme aired on CNBC Indonesia on Monday, 2 March 2026.
