Jasa Marga Chief Confirms Toll Road Repairs 100% Complete Ahead of Eid Holiday
PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. (JSMR) has confirmed that all toll road repair works have been completed ahead of the Eid holiday travel period. Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono stated that the condition of toll roads is now ready for optimal use by holiday travellers.
“Everything is finished, everything is ready 100%, everything is solid,” he said following the Free State-Owned Enterprise Eid Travel Send-off at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
He explained that one of the key stretches that was the primary focus of repair work was the Jakarta-Tangerang route. This section was considered challenging to complete on schedule, but has now been confirmed as safe and suitable for traffic.
Rivan outlined the final improvements undertaken, which included addressing minor damage such as cracks on the road surface.
Additionally, infrastructure readiness assessments have been conducted by the company together with the Toll Road Regulatory Agency and the Ministry of Transportation to ensure all work is completed before the peak holiday travel period.
According to Rivan, traffic conditions towards the western direction are relatively less congested than the eastern route such as Jakarta-Cikampek. Nevertheless, all toll road stretches, both towards the west and east, are confirmed to be ready for use following completion of all repair work.
