Jasa Marga Apologises, Identifies 8 Points of Damage on Jagorawi Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has responded to reports from several road users who experienced vehicle tyre problems while traversing the Jagorawi Toll Road on Thursday (30/4/2026). Field inspections and handling were carried out following the receipt of these reports. Representative Office 1 of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, along with Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) and Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM), promptly conducted a route survey and examination of the road surface condition after receiving the reports around 17.40 WIB. Based on the inspection results, officers identified eight points of road surface damage near the incident location, which could potentially disrupt the comfort of road users’ journeys. In response to these findings, JMTM immediately performed temporary repairs at several locations on the same night. In addition to addressing the road damage points, Mobile Customer Service officers, tow trucks, and JMTO service fleets were placed on standby to assist road users facing issues in the field and to maintain smooth traffic flow. Senior Manager of Representative Office 1, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Alvin Andituahta Singarimbun, conveyed an apology for the inconvenience experienced by road users. “We extend our apologies for the discomfort that occurred. Every piece of information from road users is a concern for us, and we immediately follow up through inspections and on-site handling to ensure that road users’ journeys can proceed smoothly,” said Alvin on Friday (1/5/2026). Jasa Marga also expressed thanks for the reports and input from road users. Road users are urged to remain cautious, maintain a safe driving distance, and follow the instructions of officers in the field.
