PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is marking its 48th anniversary on 1 March 2026 by accelerating a transformation from infrastructure-as-structure to infrastructure-as-culture. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to delivering wholehearted service.

Chief Executive Officer Rivan A. Purwantono stated that the transformation focuses not only on physical infrastructure development and management, but also on building a service culture that prioritises customer experience and satisfaction as core priorities.

“With a total of 1,736 kilometres of toll road concessions and 1,294 kilometres already operational, this transformation responds to increasingly dynamic highway user needs by delivering reliable operational services that provide users with excellent and memorable experiences. The 48th anniversary serves as a moment for Jasa Marga to reflect and strengthen our commitment to wholehearted service, delivering meaningful journeys whilst reinforcing Jasa Marga’s role as a driver of national connectivity focused on customer needs,” Rivan said in a written statement.

Rivan also expressed appreciation to all Jasa Marga employees (Roadsters) for achieving numerous positive results over the past year. These achievements include implementation of digital service innovations, improved operational quality, strengthened corporate governance, and commitment to sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

“On this 48th anniversary, we express our highest appreciation and gratitude to all Jasa Marga Roadsters. Their dedication, loyalty, and professionalism form a solid foundation for maintaining public trust and strengthening our reputation. We must continue deepening collaboration, upholding integrity, and enhancing capabilities amid increasingly complex industry dynamics,” Purwantono added.

Internal strengthening of the workforce is being realised through implementation of the JSMR MOVE workplace culture (Modern, Optimistic, Valuable, Excellent). This culture reflects the characteristics of Jasa Marga employees aligned with the company’s strategic direction and future business challenges.

The JSMR MOVE implementation emphasises competency development through structured learning programmes, enhanced digital literacy, and standardisation of service practices across all operational locations.

On the customer service front, Jasa Marga continues developing technology-based innovations by optimising the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Centre (JMTC) as an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) traffic control hub. The JMTC acts as “the eye of the tollroad”, collecting traffic information from across Jasa Marga Group’s toll road network through thousands of supporting devices including CCTV, Incident Management Systems, Global Positioning Systems, and Dynamic Message Signs.

Information processed at the JMTC is then shared with highway users through the Travoy application, functioning as a digital travel assistant on toll roads. The application provides real-time traffic information, travel time estimates, toll routes and rates, digital receipts, rest area locations and facilities, and access to emergency assistance.

Beyond strengthening the digital ecosystem, Jasa Marga continues to continuously improve Travoy Rest service quality. Facility enhancements deliver comfortable, high-standard rest areas whilst maintaining sustainability commitments through green space management, landscape organisation, and integrated waste management systems.

At 48 years old, Jasa Marga reaffirms its commitment to accelerating transformation, strengthening company values and culture, and improving service quality across its entire operational network.

With a spirit of wholehearted service, Jasa Marga is confident in continuing to deliver safe, comfortable, and secure journeys whilst contributing meaningfully to national infrastructure development towards Indonesia’s 2045 advancement vision.
