JAKARTA — PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has disclosed that a 30 per cent toll discount is an important component of time management, particularly in planning journeys undertaken by mudik travellers during this year’s Lebaran.

“The toll discount must not be forgotten; it should be utilised and arranged as part of time management for when one will depart,” said Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono during a media briefing in Jatiasih, Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

Rivan added that the 30 per cent toll discount also aims to distribute vehicular traffic during the mudik and return periods of Lebaran 2026.

“Currently we are providing a 30 per cent discount, and this discount is certainly as expected by everyone. It is provided as part of vehicle distribution management. This discount is planned for outbound travel on 15 and 16 March, and return travel on 26–27 March,” he said.

The 30 per cent toll discount applies one-way for four days: 15–16 March (outbound) and 26–27 March (return) for continuous travel on nine toll road sections. For Trans Java Toll, five sections are subject to the 30 per cent discount: Jakarta–Cikampek Toll, MBZ Elevated Toll, Palimanan–Kanci Toll, Batang–Semarang Toll, and Semarang Section ABC Toll.

For toll sections in West Java, two sections are included: Cikampek–Purwakarta–Padalarang (Cipularang) Toll and Padalarang–Cileunyi Toll.

For Trans Sumatera Toll, two sections are included: Belawan–Medan–Tanjung Morawa (Belmera) Toll and Medan–Kualanamu–Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) Toll.

“Why is the discount offered on 15–16 March? Because we expect mudik travellers to depart on Sunday and Monday so as not to cause congestion, since there is a work-from-home policy on 17 or 18 March,” said Rivan.

For information, Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo disclosed that the toll discount implementation operates for four days, comprising two days during outbound travel and two days during return travel.
