Japek Toll Road Implements Contraflow on Cikampek-Bound Lanes KM 47-65, Rest Area KM 57 Opens and Closes

The Jakarta-Cikampek toll road heading towards Cikampek is congested this afternoon. Traffic engineering measures, including contraflow and the open-close operation of the rest area at KM 57, have been implemented.

The contraflow was reported to have been in effect since Saturday (21/3/2026) at 2:00 PM WIB. It is applied from KM 47+200 to KM 65.

“Karawang Barat KM 47+200-Dawuan KM 65 contraflow/right lane in effect, please stay orderly in the queue,” stated @PTJASAMARGA as seen by detikcom at 2:27 PM WIB.

Drivers heading in the opposite direction are urged to be careful. “Be cautious on Dawuan KM 65-Karawang Barat KM 47+200, there is a contraflow lane from the Karawang Barat direction on the right lane,” added Jasa Marga.

Additionally, the rest area at KM 57 is now operating on an open-close basis. This is due to congestion on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road extending to that rest area point.

“Karawang Barat KM 51-Karawang Timur KM 57 towards Cikampek is dense, high traffic volume. Rest Area Karawang Timur KM 57 towards Cikampek is operating open-close situationally; use the next rest area,” continued Jasa Marga.
