Japek Toll Contraflow: Drivers from Bandung Advised to Use Japek II South Route

Users of the road from the direction of Bandung towards Jakarta are urged to use the functional Japek II South route. This urging follows the implementation of additional contraflow lanes on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming traffic in 2026. At the discretion of the police, Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division, together with PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan, began operating the functional Japek II South route on Thursday (19/3/2026) at 09:55 WIB. Therefore, road users from Bandung or Rancaekek heading to the Jabodetabek area are advised to switch to the functional Japek II South route as an alternative journey. From that point, road users can continue their journey up to the Bojongmangu Toll Gate (GT). Subsequently, the journey can be continued through the Deltamas area before re-entering the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road via the Cibatu GT. Road users traversing this route will not be charged any additional fees. Drivers only need to pay the Cipularang toll fare up to the Sadang access. In addition, road users are also asked to follow the directions of on-site personnel and ensure that their electronic card balances are sufficient for a smooth journey.
