INDONESIA: Tangerang Police arrested a Japanese man at a golf court in the regency capital of Tigaraksa on Saturday morning for allegedly killing his Indonesian girlfriend.
The suspect, identified as Chikusi Setsuya, 48, is the director of a technical supply company in Cikarang, West Java, while the victim was 21-year-old Yunita Indah Sari, a student at Interstudy secretarial college.
Tangerang police detective chief Adj. Comr. Kustanto said that Setsuya admitted strangling Yunita on Monday because she was trying to force him to marry her.
He rented a house in Tigaraksa, Tangerang, and allegedly buried her body in the yard.
Housekeeper Dadang became suspicious about the excavation in the yard and told a neighbor, who alerted the police. -- JP
